Resident Artists in Curatorial Studio in Paris
A curatorial studio in Paris, fostering artists' projects and connecting territories, scenes and initiatives within contemporary art.

Anna Nezhnaya — Painting, Neon & Digital Media
Studio Residency: October 2026, Résidence Iota, Paris
Curatorial Focus & Research:
Berlin-based artist Anna Nezhnaya joined the studio to introduce her work to the Parisian scene and develop our joint collaboration. Her practice critically deconstructs how cultural imagery and art history construct notions of femininity, desire, and power. During her stay, our curatorial dialogue focused on the dialogue between male and female gazes, and the transition of screen-based media spectacle into physical and digital formats—notably culminating in our project Fire Between Us presented at LOOP Barcelona.

Emilie Ferré — Watercolor, Pastel & Exploration of the Living
Studio Residency: September 2026, Résidence Iota, Paris
Curatorial Focus & Research:
Through a multidisciplinary practice, the artist explores the birth of form and the dynamics of matter, transitioning from painted cells to oil pastel manipulation. Having closely collaborated with the living organism Physarum polycephalum, the work deconstructs traditional scales to question thresholds and transitional spaces. This research culminates today in the Mesoscopic Horizons project, where contourless halos of light weave a poetics of the unstable connection between the microscopic and the immense.
Katherinne Fiedler — Vínculos Territoriales
Exhibition: Sorbonne Art Gallery, Paris / February 9–28, 2026
Curatorial Focus & Research:
Investigating territorial connections and the landscape as a perceptual tool, this research-led project stems from an in-situ dialogue between curator Elena Posokhova and artist Katherinne Fiedler. Bringing her coastal perspective from Lima into conversation with Paris, Fiedler examines the city’s geological and aquatic memory—from Lutetian limestone fossils to the historic course of the Bièvre. Through a delicate interplay of sculpture, photography, leather, and metal, the work operates at the crossroads of ecology and industrial tension, redefining our shared relationship with changing environments.

Luca Spano — A Journey is an Inventory
Exhibition: Sorbonne Art Gallery, Paris / March 16 – April 3, 2026
Curatorial Focus & Research:
Exploring territorial connections and the fragile integrity of memory, A Journey is an Inventory presents Luca Spano’s return to his native Sardinia after twenty years abroad. Echoing D.H. Lawrence’s 1920 mnemonic journey across the island, Spano retraced the writer's route to negotiate his identity between recollection and reality. Presented within the historic setting of the Sorbonne as rhythmic window-view installations, his photographic works embrace dark tones and fragmented architectures, diving into opaque possibilities rather than linear clarity to reveal how memory reconstructs our personal narratives.
